Calamity Day Announcement

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to provide an update regarding this year’s school calendar and the use of calamity days.  Due to the unusually challenging winter weather, our district used more calamity days than anticipated.

However, after carefully reviewing our total instructional hours, we are pleased to share that we have still exceeded the state’s required number of instructional hours for the school year.  As a result, the district has decided that it will not be necessary to schedule make-up days for the missed time.

This allows us to maintain our current calendar without extending the school year.

We appreciate your flexibility and support throughout the winter season.
