Emergency Operations Plan

The Fredericktown Local School District continues to be proactive about the health of our students and staff, and has been working actively to modify the district’s Emergency Operations Plan with important community stakeholders. Even though the District’s plan was last formally updated in July, we have made an update to the plan to reflect a possible medical pandemics to address the current COVID-19 virus. Involved with the update were Fredericktown Schools Superintendent Dr. Susan Hayward, Fredericktown EMS Chief Rick Lanuzza, Fredericktown Police Chief Kyle Johnson, Fredericktown Patrolman and SRO Ronny Flynn, Fredericktown Mayor Jerry Day, Director of Knox County Emergency Management Agency Mark Maxwell, Knox Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Kyle Clark, Knox County Health Commissioner Julie Miller, and Fredericktown Schools Facilities Coordinator Neil Kirkpatrick.
