PAWS for BOOKS - February 15, 2018
Admission is free. We will be accepting donations of dog and cat food, treats, toys, and spare change for the local shelters.
Join us for an absolutely "PAW-SOME" evening filled with fun.
5:00-5:30 pm- We will have a full concession stand featuring a loaded chili dog meal. The kids will enjoy meeting a few special service dogs, shopping at the book fair, face painting, and taking selfies at our dog and cat photo booth.
5:00-5:30 pm- Carol Edwards, parent mentor, will be here to give grandparents information on grandparents rights if they are playing an active role in raising a grandchild.
At 5:30pm, the fun begins!
The Danville Police Department will bring a K9 dog to demonstrate her special abilities. She will demonstrate her basic obedience skills and drug searching techniques. After that, get ready for a truly unforgettable show! Team Zoom Canine Entertainment will perform incredible dog frisbee, agility, and pet tricks. The rescue dog show will delight and entertain you. They are extreme stunt dogs that will be glad to meet you after the show.
6:30-7:15 pm- The book fair and concession stand will be open. You will be able to purchase a personalized item such as a collar or shirt for your pet at our Freddie Gear stand. We will also have balloon animals and crafts for the kids.
