Students Learn Dangers of Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Police officer Matt White and Chief of Police Roger Brown, from the Fredericktown Police Department, visited Ms. Beheler's high school health classes to speak with students about the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. Students were able to wear goggles that simulate impairment from excessive consumption of alcohol. Officer White also spoke with students about the Ohio Revised Code, trends in widespread presence of drugs and alcohol for high school aged students, and the connection between actions today and aftermath effects in the future. The students truly enjoyed the presentation and want to extend a thank you to the Fredericktown Police Department.
