Dear Fredericktown Families,
As the new principal of Fredericktown Middle School, I would like to welcome you to the 2016 - 2017 school year! I am eagerly anticipating a successful and rewarding year, and I look forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents and community to provide exceptional educational experiences for our students.
For those of you who I have not yet met, please let me introduce myself. I have been involved in school administration and education for the past 20 years. My family moved to Fredericktown in 2000 with the purpose of raising our family. I have four kids and my wife, Marie and I are active members of the community and greater Knox County. My most recent administrative assignment was at Butler Elementary School where I had the privilege of having served as principal for the past four years.
I recognize middle school can signal feeling of both excitement and trepidation, and I thank you for entrusting your children to the Fredericktown staff. We do not take lightly our responsibility to ensure your children have a highly engaging educational experience in a safe and nurturing environment, and we are thrilled to partner with our families as they embark on the next leg in their children’s academic journey.
I am excited and honored to join my community for what I know will be an amazing school year. Those of you who know me know that I truly have an open door policy, and I welcome your questions, concerns, and input at any time.
With Freddie Pride,
Mr. Matthew Caputo
Principal, Fredericktown Middle School
